Meet the team behind V360Marine

Challenging norms, exceeding expectations.
And we're totally real, nothing virtual here.

Richard Hooson

Rick studied Computer Science at Hull University and leads our technical team. Specialising in virtual/augmented and mixed reality, 3D modelling and animation, hard-surface/soft body modelling, particle system creation, collision and environment physics, and mobile platform integration, Rick ensures that we have the ultimate edge.

Sam Slater

Before v360marine, Sam worked predominantly in the Oil & Gas and Nuclear industries, delivering large and complex projects involving hazardous environments and heavily regulated frameworks. Growing up on a tiny island, Sam’s passion for boats started at an early age and he gained his Yacht Master Offshore certificate in 2008.

MD Greg Beach

Greg Beach

Greg joined the Merchant Navy and gained his Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Chief Engineer Unlimited) prior to moving into the yacht industry. Over the last 10 years, Greg has carried out countless Atlantic and Pacific crossings, working on numerous high-profile projects, including the build completion of a complex 101m super yacht.
